Funeral services for Simon A. Shelley, 78 years old, 1945 North Tibbs Avenue, who died Monday in an Indianapolis hospital, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Conkle Speedway Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery in Crawfordsville.  Born in Lincoln, Neb., Mr. Shelley had lived in Crawfordsville for 30 years and in Indianapolis for 40 years.  An automobile mechanic, he had worked at a number of garages in the city.  Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Hubert Schenck of Zionsville, Mrs. Lawrence Lahr, Mrs. Norbert Wuench, Mrs. Oliver Bain and Mrs. Ethel Gerbrick, all of Indianapolis, five sons, Raymond Shelley of Franklin, Walter, Howard, James and Simon A. Shelley, all of Indianapolis; a brother, Isaac Shelley of Indianapolis; 27 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. – thanks to Kim H
